A practical path
The designer turns a handful of studio decisions into a schedule you can inspect, change, and keep. No spreadsheet setup required.

Firing profile
Compare available profiles such as full fuse, tack fuse, slump, and fire polish, with reference temperatures and plain-language descriptions.

Review & export
Inspect the segment table and firing curve. Edit the values for your kiln and project, then download CSV or PDF.

Inside the app
Published manufacturer guidance shapes the first curve. It cannot account for every kiln, glass arrangement, or desired finish.
Check and adjust the rates, target temperatures, and holds against your equipment and project. Test with your own kiln before relying on a schedule for an important piece.
Firing monitor
Start the browser-based monitor from your finished schedule. It traces the planned curve, shows elapsed and remaining time, and estimates which segment you are in.

How it works
The monitor is a clock-based estimate, not a connection to your kiln. For a manually controlled kiln, it offers a useful sense of approximately where you may be in the schedule; verify the actual kiln and glass yourself. Notifications are reminders, not safety alarms.

A paper copy for the studio
The PDF export puts the firing segments, reference points, curve, and a space for studio notes on the page. This example uses the first page of the supplied Fruit Bowl schedule—not invented schedule numbers.
Keep a printout beside your project and mark it up as you work. The browser monitor follows an estimated timeline while you're firing.
Good to know
No. The designer prepares a schedule for you to review and use with your own kiln controller. The Firing Monitor follows an estimated timeline; it is not live temperature telemetry or a safety device.
The app builds manufacturer-specific schedules. Select one glass system for a project and follow the maker’s compatibility and firing guidance. Do not assume glasses from different systems are compatible.
No. Published guidance is a starting point. Kiln behavior, glass, thickness, arrangement, and the result you want all matter. Review the schedule, use your judgment, and test with your own kiln.
No account or installation is required to use the browser-based designer. Download a PDF or CSV if you want a copy for your studio records.
